History
Before 2001, SCA had an incontinence division and a small AFH tissue business in the US. With the acquisitions of Georgia-Pacific Tissue and the protective packaging company Tuscarora in 2001 SCA got a no.3 position in the AFH tissue segment and a market-leader position within protective packaging.

In 2007, SCA sold its US packaging operations.
