SCA came in second place in the Swedish PR agency Hallvarsson & Halvarssons’s yearly web ranking. They survey Swedish listed companies’ information on the Internet.
H&H’s survey is focused on financial communication and this was the eleventh consecutive year it was conducted. Each year a European capital market survey is made to decide the criteria for the web ranking.
SCA is usually doing well in the ranking and this year’s second place was an improvement compared to last year’s No 4.
" We really appreciate our silver medal,"says Bodil Eriksson, SVP Corporate Communications at SCA. "It is a driving force to continue to develop our web which has become more and more important: to facilitate new businesses, to communicate our brand and to increase the understanding of our company."
SCA received 79.5 points in the ranking compared to the winner, the tobacco company Swedish Match, which received 84.75 points. The corporate web site www.sca.com has about 70 000 visits each months.
