SCA Packaging in Johor, Malaysia, has received the Best Supplier Award from the Japanese automobile company Honda. During the past four years Honda has given out this award three times and SCA Packaging Asia has won them all.
The three Honda awards SCA Packaging Asia has received as Best Supplier.
“The Honda award is only given out to suppliers that have achieved and maintained 100 per cent quality performance and zero delivery failure for a specific review period” says Peter Choo, General Manager at SCA Packaging Johor.
The Johor packaging facility produces EPS (expanded polystyrene) and carton boxes for the protective packaging and transportation of dashboard panels to Honda assembly plants in Malaysia.
Both Honda and SCA design engineers worked closely together on fully-functional design of the industrial packaging.
“These three awards truly signify our commitment of ‘Quality, Service and Delivery’ to our customers. We are also happy to say that our sales revenue from Honda has grown 20 per cent annually since we received the first award, yet another rewarding recognition of our ability to provide customers with high value packaging solutions,” says Peter Choo.
